Volunteer and Community Education Programs
Bow Valley Victim Services offers training to BVVS volunteers and interested community members. Topics covered include Crisis Intervention, Suicide Intervention, Domestic Abuse, Sexual Assault and Sudden Death.
No date has been set as to when our next training series will be. All sessions are free to attend, but pre-registration will be required.
Individuals interested in volunteering with our Association before this training series begins can do so by contacting our program and registering to complete an extensive, on-line Alberta Justice course on victim issues.
The BVVS also offers a wide range of educational presentations to schools, community organizations and businesses. Training programs can be customized to meet the needs of your group.
